I am thinking about taking a job in Brandenton, FL. How does the traffic in Bradenton compare to Tampa traffic? I also have an offer in W. Palm Beach. I heard the traffic is less congested there compared to the other two locations. I have read that people GENERALLY tend to be a little more relaxed on the West Coast even though people in W. Palm Beach tend to be a little more laid back than say Miami. Any thoughts about the traffic or general disposition of people in these areas? Thanks.

It's all relative. To me, West Palm and Bradenton have practically zero traffic. Compared to Miami, where it is a constant in your life, West Palm and Bradenton are like nothing.

Tampa has some heavy traffic during rush hour.
And idk, but Bradenton to me seems a bit white trashy.

I think Bradenton's traffic can be heavy at times depending on the streets you have to drive. I'm not fully familiar with the area, I think Cortez Rd is the one with the heavy traffic. I have never experienced heavy traffic in West Palm Beach and I have visited West Palm Beach more times.

In Tampa I experienced most traffic on 275, downtown and crossing the bridges.

Guess it depends what you call "heavy traffic." Bradenton has practically no heavy traffic, really, unless in season heading out to the beaches. Parts of 41 and Cortez Road have the most, but I have never seen it unbearable compared to say Tampa.
