Whatever. You people are making a royal mess of the Florida forum. Not only do all these sub-forums make little sense socially, economically and culturally - except to the most provincial mind -, it is a logistical nightmare having to click among so many sub-forums and reading through inevitable cross-postings.

A regional approach would have been much more sensible and manageable, nor more than five or six regions for Florida, or any state forum.

The Florida forum should look something like this:

1) Southeast Florida, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-West Palm Beach

2) Southwest Florida, Naples-Venice-Sarasota

3) Tampa Bay area

4) central Florida, Orlando-Daytona

5) northeast Florida, Jacksonville

6) northwest Florida, Tallahassee and panhandle

No matter, obviously this medieval fragmentation of the Florida forum is destined to continue, possibly making it more attractive for some, but less attractive for others.

Good luck!

bale002 - I totally agree, if they go through with this. It will get so fragmented and it will be a mess of cross posting and multiple posting on the same subject.

Thanks for the supporting view. Unfortunately, the tyranny of the mob majority rules. We have to live with it.

I say...

1) keep them combined, but change the name from Miami to Southeast Florida

or

2) have separate sub-forums for each of the three main city areas (Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach).

Thanks for the input. We are working on a new feature that should make clicking on multiple sub-forums unnecessary to see all threads of interest. Once it's done, these sub-forums will be added.
