He's selling his South Beach condo because he says the restaurant prices have gone through the roof and they eat out 2x/day. Sure, he could afford it, but he doesn't want to pay those prices. I think he's been there done that time to move on.

He started going to Key West each year for an event, and fell in love with the lifestyle there. Its very tolerent of almost any legal lifestyle, and very laid back.

I think he'll grow bored with it in <1 year and sell that house too.

In my opinion people should treat key west like the island that it actually is and pretend there is no bridge. Look at that little chunk of land and decide if there’s enough to occupy you nearly 365 days a year. Nothing against the keys but I can only imagine getting bored and less you were very heavily into water activities, fishing and similar pastimes. From what people have told me that live in places like Hawaii you can only go to the beach so much before you need something, anything, else to do.
