I am 30 yo looking to start my professional career and buying an afordable small house or condo in South Eastern Florida. Currently, I live in PA and I am not really involved in the dynamic of Florida.
I like to find a suburban fast growing area within driving distances from airports or metropolitan cities.
Which cities have the fastest growth and it is still afordable?
Thank you so much in advance for all your recommendations. I really appreciate them.

You might want to take a look around these boards. There are some real issues with the area, especially regarding affordability.

Unhappy Confused

Thanks for the hint. Boards are not a problem but lack of knowledge about different cities in Florida is.

Pembroke Pines and Miramar areas seem appealing in the web, not sure in reality.

Does anyone knows about which areas have a good school system???

Thanks

Sorry. I wasn't really being sarcastic. I figured you hadn't read the posts and thought I would give you a heads up. North Florida seems to be not so bad. Southeatern and Southwestern Florida is a train wreck.

Stay in PA. I currently live in WPB and houses arent affordable and prices are dropping. If you insist on moving to FL, wait till prices drop then choose north Florida

Default Some real advice PLEASE!

Mair is trying to find information about towns in SE FL. One person suggested her to stay in PA, the other is trying to sell his home, and another comment with no added help.

I'm in the same boat as Mair. If things work out, I'll be working in Boca Raton. I've done much reading on these threads and now I hope to receive good advices from you. Yes, I know about the housing cost, property taxes, and insurance. These are common issues in ALL of florida.

What towns are great for easy commute to Boca Raton with A rated school, decent housing (3/2 @ 275K - 350K), easy access to the interstate and beaches. From my reading, Wellington, Coral Spring, and Delray Beach fit the description. Are there any other? Thank you all.

Yes, Boca Raton itself. There are currently 156 SFHs, some well above 2000 sq.ft., and 381 residential dwellings overall that fit that description out of a total of 7,496 properties available right now in Boca Raton on the MLS alone.

You have the embarrassment of the choice.

Question Miramar and Pembrokes Pines

I heard great things about Miramar and Pembrokes Pines area for young professionals. Is this true?
Are there a lot of young families there or retired people?
What are the price ranges for 2 to 3 bedroom house or condo ?
Are there new school being built?
Thanks for your ideas!!!!
