South Florida? I'd say pretty much "no" to all of the above. The bug/mosquito control has been going on for so long that, while they still exist and have their moments, going for a run it's unlikely you will be eaten alive by mosquitos. Most people don't even have screens around their pools anymore since the bugs aren't that bad these days.

We have swam in lakes plenty in Broward. Haven't been eaten by an alligator yet. We BBQ quite often, no issues with flies. Cockroaches are around, but if you treat the outside of your house properly and bait the cockroaches properly when they do come about, it's easy to get rid of them and keep them under control.

South Florida is heavily populated, which means tons of bug control. The bugs just aren't that bad at all anymore and almost a non-issue entirely.

lest not forget to mention the tiniest of the already super tiny flying midges aka "no-see-ums" they will eat ya alive but you won't see them fly! they come through the finest of screens and microscopic cracks! dusk and dawn is the prime time for the hunt to go on! Never go into the mangroves alone day or night! Be forewarned they will BITE!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

The Answers;

I live in rural Florida and Deet is your friend, learn to love water lizards (yum), enjoy fishing for sharks, bring your Texas brisket recipes to the BBQ, gecko's will eat the roaches and the clear coat on your car's paint will fade. Real Floridians seek shade when parking their trucks, we don't drive cars.

will the heat melt my cars paint?

What you describe is Option A.

Option B
South Florida has a significant number of dense urban neighborhoods with mid/high rise condos that have amenities such as parking garages, gyms, pools, even BBQ areas in some places, and services such as pest control.

Moreover, it is possible to never encounter the outside environment, not even necessary to go to a grocery store, anything can be delivered to your doorstep or the building lobby area nowadays.

Option C
Or you encounter somewhere in between.

Personally I go for Option C and the worst I have encountered is some mosquito bites now and then when I am stupid enough to be outdoors at dusk.
