They need to remove that stinky s***, I was in Key West earlier this summer and could barely breath next to the ocean because of that stinky stuff.

I was in Sarasota a few months ago, and it was disgusting. I agree.
Thing is, TONS can be done with seaweed. Lots of varieties can be eaten, and some can be used to produce fuel.

it is either that, or beach "replenishment", or beach whatever to save the tourist industry.
the tourist industry is becoming the New farm industry for Government to "save".

If each tourist (24-million annually) would simply eat their fair share of seaweed, the problem would go away. OTOH, if the bureaucracy gets into the business of fixing the problem, it will get twice as bad, cost twice as much to fix and never go away.
