Bye bye hurricane season 2020! You missed me again. I survived another year w/o hurricane windows, or shutters, and no generator. I love living on the edge...and winning.

The day will come you won't win. 57 years and not so much a twig down where i have lived. But the day is coming a super CAT 5 will take me for good and it won't be another 99 years or even 15 years. I plan to go down with the ship and end my life if i lose it all. I will never leave not even with a Cat with gust to 230mph.

There is no way to know when and where they'll hit. I've been doing fine, and will likely roll the dice again for 2021's season. My house is rated at 160 mph winds, but realistically, I'd give it 120 mph.

I like living on the edge, and I have lots of insurance.

I have no Ins and homes to sell mel. Your house won't take 200+. Our number is coming. I always wanted to die in a cane or a nuke war so whatever comes first.

It seems like 1/2 our 'hood has these massive whole house generators mounted outside. They are so proud of them, they don't even landscape around them. Total eyesores. Then there's all the pool mechanicals right next to them....ugh...grrr! The sides of the homes in this high-end community look like a Keystone Pipeline pumping station.

I'll bet they were all hoping the same as you...to be able to fire up Mr. Generac, & watch people like me sweat it out, & eat mold.

Not this year.

Mine is not such an elaborate set up, lol. I got four 2200 watt Honda inverter generators, I parallel them, and got an extension cord layout set up to go with some portable AC units. I really do not want to assemble everything just to see how it works, need a bit of motivation like a hurricane and extended power outage to do that.
