His charge of racism was not about Florida, but Alabama. There's a whole thing about that in regard to moving from a place where people like you are everywhere, and even being visible in high positions in nearly all sectors of society like in SFL, to a place where you are the nearly the only one. I'm not surprised he and his dad got dismissed as Mexican "illegals" in Alabama despite being of Cuban heritage.

His channel has received 1m views in the past 30 days, which could be giving him a payout of $1,500-$3,500 a month. If he has other work, which he implies that he does in his videos, he is managing okay.

I can see why he wasn't happy with Alabama, but he makes it seem that every minority is going to experience racism.

He plays the race card on why he can't leave Florida but you can live anywhere.
So why bother talking about him and his problems
You don’t know him
You know he has issues
He won’t read any of this and nothing here will lead to a positive change in his life

Most miserable people will be miserable anywhere. I've lived in a major liberal city such as San Francisco, California to a small conservative town such as Wasilla, Alaska... among multiple cities in between. I've never felt a place made my life miserable, but I've found miserable people in each area who I know would be miserable elsewhere as well.

I just don't like the year round heat. Florida itself isn't so bad.

well he's right about the lack of infrastructure, horrible scamming/fraud, sky-high insurance rates, and intolerable heat/humidity!

I grew up in Florida, and while I enjoyed my childhood there, I started to hate living there as a teenager. I moved out at age 20 and never looked back. Lived in Texas and then settled in Minnesota. Its a fun state to visit but even when visiting, I am reminded of why I left. The culture in Miami is just too weird. Its a weird vibe. Its the only major metro I am aware where people look down on you because you like to read or don't buy into the materialistic culture of the place.

Other than that, the politics in Florida lean way too red these days. Its always had a conservative lean but it wasn't this bad when I lived there. DeSantis is like a human zit.

Key word is "year round." I don't mind the heat in summer, cuz its summer. But when I last visited Florida for Thanksgiving (2017) I thought I was going to melt. It should not be that hot that close to December!

Ironically, last time I was there (September 2021) the weather was relatively cooler. I was actually swimming in my mom's pool and the water felt surprisingly chilly and the cloud cover/rain brought the afternoon temps to the mid 70s which in the 18 years I lived in S. Florida, almost NEVER happened in September.

The lack of seasons and endless heat is the #1. reason I left.
