“We are here. We’re working to be have your back. You need to know we have your backs,” he continued, bragging about how woke school board members are working from the “inside” to advance these radical left agendas.

“And we’re working in the best strategic spot because we’re on the inside or working from the inside. And it’s from my point of view, I’ve spent not quite two years to earn credibility and to earn trust. That is a long, slow process. But I’m not the only one in the state of Florida,” Edwards continued, asserting that there are coalitions “formed to protect.”

They're "woke," in that they understand the bigger picture and aren't blithely and ignorantly tumbling down the rabbit hole of alt-right conspiracy theories, antisemitism, fascism, neo-nazi agenda that promotes ONLY white evangelicals who claim to be christians but are nothing more than the spawn of hatred, lies, and fear of "other."

In short, there are still lots of teachers who just want to teach, rather than be tools of the hate-machine.
I doubt that he used the word “woke” at any time
That is inserted by the mind of the OP and Breitbart

Actually he did use the word “woke” which is not very smart since it has obviously been turned against him…

Yes, and the word itself is a trigger for the alt-right. Just seeing the word in print makes them froth at the mouth, as they have been trained to do.

Just more republican talking points. They go from CRT (which is not being taught), to high gas prices (which are dropping every day), inflation (which already peaked). They will come up with something else to talk about tomorrow.

The reason it's not being taught NOW is, Virginia Gov Younkin exposed the Louden County school board for promoting CRT among other atrocities.... including hiding the rape of a young girl by a trans student.

Many republican Governors have now stepped up and prevented CRT from infecting other schools. Good on them to be PROACTIVE!

Gas prices down because demand is down. Inflation still in the danger zone. See the Federal Reserve for more information.

Today we're talking about the wokies and how to stop them from poisoning the minds of children with non educational woke social issues, and how they're promoting marxist values in our schools. Parents are the ultimate authority for their children, PARENTS... not the government.

In Florida... this is where woke goes to die.

This is the wokies doing what they do trying to subvert American and her children...

Utah teacher questions whether 'posh, White parents' will oppose her classroom 'built for non-White students'
The teacher said there were 'no White kids represented' in many aspects of her classroom

Utah maybe the most 'white state' there is.
White: 85.14%
Other race: 5.10%
Two or more races: 4.24%
Asian: 2.32%
Black or African American: 1.21%
Native American: 1.05%
Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.93%

Though those populations are not distributed evenly throughout the state. I’m guessing that the teacher is in Salt Lake City proper, where only about 40% of students are non-Hispanic white and you can get that kind of friction when the school district is bending over backwards to keep middle class white families from fleeing to the suburban school district route. (I went to college with white kids who went to Detroit public schools. The district was like ‘yeah pick whatever school you want’ and the magnet schools like Cass Tech or Renaissance were often every bit as good as West Bloomfield or Grosse Pointe North, so they were well prepared for college and beyond.)

Update on Sarasota county school board elections:

The Sarasota County School Board flipped from a 3-2 Democrat to a 4-1 Republican majority.

All three conservative candidates — Bridget Ziegler, Robyn Marinelli, and Timothy Enos — won their elections to flip the board.

Each was endorsed by the 1776 Project PAC and Gov. DeSantis.

Democracy.

Miami-Dade also flipped (R), is now the largest school district in the country with a (R) majority on the board.

While this "victory" may be a temporary band-aid, we still need to work for the complete dismantling of the public school system.
