First, you are naive to believe that there aren’t inappropriate materials in some classrooms. Of course there are. That’s the impetus for the law. However, you are missing the point. It’s not the materials that are illegal. They are not “banned”. The law says that adults aren’t permitted to bring those types of materials into the classroom for non-curricular use. To argue against that is to say that you think those things should be permitted in the classroom no matter what they are. Is that your position?
