For a small business that only serves the local area, I'm sure FL presents some great opportunities. But the bigger the business, the more wary I'd personally be of locating in FL. I just think it has (suddenly) become a very politically polarizing state, and with that comes the risk of boycotts. For a large company that wants to serve a wider customer base, I'd say it's better to be in a state that is more low-key and not so hell-bent on attracting the ire of half the country.

I own a small business that serves the 48 contiguous states, and all of Canada.

My business has increased since I moved it to Florida ~5 years ago from Atlanta.

I spend 0 on advertising, 0 on new sales, so the increase must be due to my new location...the Free State of Florida.

That’s not just a FL issue as the cancel culture is everywhere.

For large corporations with specific workforce needs, FL can be a challenge. FL is also at the end of the distribution spoke in the US as well. Truckers hate going to FL as freight hauls in but not much goes out.
