For the most part, anything west of the Suwannee River would be part of the Florida Panhandle so Tallahassee falls well within the region.

Yes. Even more strictly defined than FeRail's definition, the panhandle begins at the Aucilla River and Jefferson County which is still quite a ways east of Tallahassee.

If one can withstand the occasional cold weather and hot summers, Tallahassee is a fantastic, underrated option…and yes it’s in the Panhandle.

Big Bend, for sure, and really the beginning of the Panhandle. One difference: not near a real beach.
