We have a great country winery! They do a lot of events; have free tours; a great country store; fresh eggs; and their wine is delicous! It is Henscratch Farms, they have a webpage if you do a search. They are located in Lake Placid.

We recently toured Lakeridge Winery, and were impressed. Their sweet wine is based on the Florida Muscadine grapes, which are not really to my taste, but my DW loves them. They also produce wine from Cuvee grapes, which were developed by UF to produce a dryer wine. They have Cuvee Noir (which I really liked) and Cuvee Blanc.

I believe that Lakeridge and San Sebation are both under the same ownership. They were storing some San Sebastion wine at Lakeridge.

Lakeridge wines are now available in some supermarkets, such as selected Publix stores.

San Sebastian also uses the Muscadine grapes for wine and juice. Their Port is very good. I'll be in St. Augustine this Friday for R&R and pick up some wine and Port. Thanks for the update on Lakeridge....
