Hi
No Fishiness here ... just willing to help with items that would be of help to a family with daughters as I have items new and used that would be of use!
Shock someone with a heart wants to give to those in need! I help in my own hometown all the time but when I see disasters such as these ... I wish I had the $$ to send but I have items! Sometimes the thought of being sent a care package is just what some need!
I did this for a family of three in New Orleans... and we still keep in touch!
Thanks and God Bless!

The director of the Red Cross was just on Channel 2 news and says they want MONEY ONLY.

You might want to get in touch with the local churches there. They are usually the ones to help with clothing, etc. If you need help finding contact info, just post. You're very thoughtful to want to help.

Shelters are:

North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, 352-751-0299
1st Baptist Church, Paisley, 352-669-6221
Bay St. Baptist Church, Eustis, 352-589-1241

There's also a directory: www.churchangel.com, which may have something posted for the individual churches.

Thanks so much for your help! I appreciate the posts as I see some do not take this post seriously! I will check those out as that sounds like the best way to go this time! If there is anyone that is reading and needs some help with items to be sent somewhere like a church or another relatives address! I can do this! Thanks again

Hey, anytime! I just had a yard sale and donated the rest to Habitat for Humanity. Timing is everything...

I don't know much about Lady Lake, but I think it is mostly all retirees. Paisley is a real small town, with the most fatalities. There are a lot of low-income families and migrant workers. My neighbor has some family near there. I'll ask her if she knows anybody in need.
