Ive noticed about a 20% drop in house prices from the peak and sellers are still reducing their prices more and more. I am not supprised Gainsville and Ocala are going up still. Ive been to Gainsville many times and I prefer that city over my city of West Palm Beach hands down. The crime and traffic are less and the weather is better. Could north Florida soon be the same price as south Florida?

Default Wind Direction

North Florida real estate prices will stay the same or even slack off until S Florida has more waves of hurricanes this summer. N Florida has a South Florida hurricane dependent economy.

I guess this dispels the myth that Miami only goes up in value!

Great info. What's the number for St. Pete/Clearwater area? Is it 3.0?

Yes, the Tampa-St.Petersburg-Clearwater percentage is supposed to be +3.0%!

Thank you for spotting the typo, Jammie! I'd appreciate having the original post corrected by a moderator, please, as I didn't spot the error in time to edit.

Um, price "change" does not mean "value" change...
Here we go again...
The house that someone paid 200k for, that would have been able to sell for say 350 the way things were a few years ago, now has "dropped" in (asking) price from say 300 to 265...

DO YOU GET THIS YET?

Yes the prices HAVE DROPPED! The VALUE has gone UP...
(see my other post/s for a more detailed explanation...)

Do you get it YET...
