no-it was a facetious reply to the OP's comment about seniors stealing jobs from young people at toll booths and supermarkets (she may have used Publix; I'm familiar with Wallyworld). While many older people do enjoy those jobs (I would HATE being a greeter and when I worked at Meijer--like a Walmart--I would get bored just standing there saying hi, but the elderly seem to have a way with it, and enjoy getting to meet all those people, so it kind of works out), and sure there are young people who could do them as well, they aren't 'stealing' the jobs that young people WANT to do anymore than immigrants are stealing jobs Americans WANT to do.
