I am looking to relocate to FL, I am a single mother with a 10 year old daughter. I am looking for a place that provides a nice family neighborhood, good schools and athletics. I was thinking of Port St Lucie or Boca- any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

North Tampa is great for this purpose - good schools, affordable houses, gated communities with tennis courts, pools, club houses, etc. Better value than east coast of Florida. Builders are still present in the area, some bargains out there in new and resale homes. Moderator cut: website
