Mindy, there are numerous posts on this - just do a quick search to find your answer. Also when you go to google and type in "best Florida Beaches" you will also find your answer.

My favorite beaches are on the west coast -Naples, Sarasota, the nearby islands - any that have white sand.

The east coast has the best surf.

The Keys has the best water.

The west coast and Panhandle have the best actual beaches (white sand, wide, not littered with tar from shipping).

I'd say it was a tie between St. George Island and Fort DeSoto.

I prefer Siesta Key-it has clear water and sugar sand...plus it helps that this beach isn't too overcrowded.

This photo is from Walton County. Most days there are very little waves, but the water is clear blue green and warm. The beach sand is white like powdered sugar and squeeks when you walk on it. No rocks. No seeds, no stems, no sticks..I forgot what I was talking about.

So you've been? Did you drive, fly or magic bubble your way to Destin?
