Can't stand Port St. Lucie. I'm already living near Fort Myers. And there's not enough green. I choose Vero Beach. It looks nice and rich. But not enough diversity. I can't stand neither of these towns actually.

When you say Vero Beach doesn't have enough diversity are you talking about racial diversity? If you look beyond the island, we have lots of interesting races and exotic flavors. The thing with Vero Beach is a lot of people judge it by what they see from A1A and they think everyone is rich and blonde.

How's the medical care in and near Vero Beach? What is the nearest area with good hospitals, docs, etc.? I have visited and like Vero, but am afraid of having to drive long distances for things because it's in the middle of the eastern coastline and therefore a bit far away from major cities.

You have a Lemon, a Kiwi, and a lime, all fruit and all different. Ft. Meyers is not in the running as it is the West Coast and not the same as the East Coast, Port St. Lucie cannot hold a candle to Vero Beach in terms of lifestyle quality. I am a little one sided as we lived in Vero for many years, great community, good shopping friendly people, fair beaches, in fact I can't remember anything bad about it!!!
