Hello everyone, so my daughter is graduating high school and wants to attend school in Leesburg Florida and I'm interested in relocating to Florida as well we are moving from chicago and are very excited, since she will be staying on campus I need suggestions on walkable safe cities for a 40+ single female I would love to be in a vibrant area maybe with a resort feel if possible my rent cap is $1400. I am interested in exploring all types of shops and dining and quick trips around Florida to familiarize myself .I work as a CNA and so far my resume has been well received with the companies knowing that I won't be out there until August to live but we are doing a campus vist for 1 week in March so any help I can receive will be appreciated

You might check out Lake Buena Vista, SW of Orlando near Walt Disney World. There are many rental condominium units there well within your price range that would have the resort-like features you're looking for. It's fairly close to Leesburg and central geographically which will allow for easy access to other parts of the state.
