I'm planning to buy a home this summer and need some suggestions for communities with the following:
Palm Beach County preferred, but open to other areas
Single family or detached one story home, top quality and design
Under $450K (after prices adjust to current market conditions)
Good neighborhood for active 52-year-old widow with grown kids
Under 10 years old or new construction preferred
Within a half hour of a major airport
Community pool, exercise facility, and walking trails would be great
I'm most familiar with Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Juno Beach, where there are some wonderful communities. Most of the homes in my price range seem to be 15 to 20 years old. I want something newer. Also, if you know a great Realtor, please pass along a name. Any ideas?

Check out the Mayfair in Wellington. Walking distance to mall, library, community center and grocery stores restaurants. It is gated, geared towards 55 and over, walking trails. It was finished this year I believe. They are townhouses and condos with garages. Very nice community! Here is a listing for a rental/sale in there with nice pictures. I have no connection to this unit or realtors.
