When hurricane season starts, I am interested in where the winds will drop all the oil it picks up. Normally the storms go east to west...are many concerned about this?

Northeast Florida (First Coast region) is rarely affected by the huricane storms. Maybe you can look into that area. It not as bad as central or south Florida.

yeah, Florida sucks. I'd recommend anyone thinking of moving here consider Arizona or some other state.

don't come here -

no jobs, hotter than hell, hurricanes, bugs everywhere, overpopulated with oldtimers who don't know how to drive, ugly women, gapped-toothed/mullet-wearing rednecks, hate crime, sales taxes to hit 8% soon, sinkholes, overpriced housing, no jobs, politicians on the take, drug/pain clinics, no mountains - just boring flat lands.

it's miserable here.......and it ain't going to get better.....

it's a wonder why people keep coming here for vacation or relocate to the state for good**

I don't think it's an issue. The news media are being alarmists as usual.

It can't get much worse than it is now, unless a few CAT 5 storms hit the state and push a 20ft surge of oil filled water inland. Home prices have dropped 70%from 05 in my area on the gulf and are still dropping like a rock. I have plans on getting out of this country as soon as i sell off all of my toys and house.

agreed. Pitt has become quite a nice city these days. anyone who thinks its a dingy polluted city where you can't see the sky needs to come into this century.
