Does anyone else feel a.... pull to cook more in one season that another? For me, it's fall. I don't know if it's because it's my favorite season, or because everything looks good at harvest time or if it's some intrinsic store up fat for the winter thing but... there it is.

In the fall I want to bake more, make soups and crockpot meals, get really INVOLVED in the kitchen.

So, what's your favorite kitchen season?

Definitely fall and winter! Nothing like being in a warm kitchen with food cooking and it's cold out.

Winter! When we have a snow on, I want to cook. I dunno, I've just always been that way.

Oh, yeah. Fall and winter definitely get me in a cooking mood. I do make soups year-round, mostly to have in the freezer, handy to take to work for lunch. But when the weather cools, I really want to cook and bake up a storm!

Fall and winter here, too. This thread isn't terribly exciting so far with all of us in agreement.
