I haven't seen muscadines in years. A friend showed me where some were growing in the wild. Almost made myself sick eating them. lol
bjh, they look like a grape but you can't eat the outside.

A few stalls had them at the Dallas Farmer's Market today, plus I have seen them recently in a couple of grocery stores. They are rare here though.

I like the bronze and purple ones. The purple may be a little sweeter. They go on sale in our local markets around the middle of August. Makes good jelly too.

Quite a few grown around me. I love them. I can even eat the thick skin. Winery not to far away makes a dessert sweet wine out of them.
