On my own, I rarely eat beef. Maybe once every two weeks. But, we have a cafeteria at work that serves up a lot of beef. At least 2/3s of this beef comes from local, grass fed beef. I actually prefer the store bought...grass fed kind of tastes like grass to me.

Beef steaks and roasts haven't been a part of my life for years. I do buy ground beef for bolognese sauce and hamburgers. I'm like Wimpy when it comes to loving hamburgers.

I eat more pork and lamb than beef. Carnitas just wouldn't be carnitas if they were made from beef.

I eat very little red meat. I have beef maybe once a month, if that.

At least twice a week - that's what experimentation has told me my body needs. Sometimes a roast or a steak, as often leftover roast turned into jambalaya or herbed stew from the cold roast.

Mostly eat pork or chicken here now. Our beef consumption is way down now that the DS is out of the house. But we eat more hamburger than any other beef in a given month probably go through 10-15 #s per mopth. Might have a roast 2-3 times per month, no steaks now we aren't fans.

Beef gets a bad wrap-the media and bark eaters have been dumping on beef for 30 yrs

beef has excellent nutrients, particularly proteins

Folks buy beef for different reasons-if you want LEAN, there are many lean cuts-top round, sirloin tip,
eye-round, sirloin strip steaks, etc,

A rib-eye steak is one of the best foods on the planet! as is a rib eye roast

beef can be a good part of most folks dieting, wanting to lose weight (all in moderation)

burger-there are many grades of burger (fat to lean ratio-so if you want super-lean, you can get it)

keep in mind, lean and tender doesnt usually go together, but you can do alot to lean beef to make it tasty

I have friends that will say, they eat less red-meat because its deemed fatty, or unhealthy, yet will go to dairy queen and have 3 blizzards a week...lol

I eat beef on an average of 3-5 times a week

I love Burgers and I have an almost carnal craving for Ribeye steak at least a few times a month.
I dont get to eat burgers much but only because I have other people to cook for.
My family much prefers pork chops, roasts. it's gotten to the point i'm so sick of eating any pork product but bacon or sausage.
Most people would most likely laugh at me for the foods I complain about having to endure on an everyday basis.
Very rarely is it processed or come in a can.
This is why i'm happy on nights when I just get to sit down and have a good old Hot Dog or a canned Corn beef hash with eggs.
