It is only 80F so we are sitting on the patio and enjoying home made sangria
Few members asked for a recipe. Here you go:
You will need 2 bottles of red wine, optional 1/2 cup Brandy, triple sec, or rum, sugar (or honey) to taste, 2 cups of club soda or ginger ale, 4 oranges, 2 lemons, 1 lime, diced peaches, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry – frozen or fresh, small can of diced pineapple with juice, ice.
Juice from 2 oranges, slice the rest of the citrus, cut slices in 4 pieces, cut fruit in little pieces.
Pour O.J. into a pitcher, add sliced citrus, sugar or honey, spirit – stir.
Add other fruit, and wine. Chill at least 24 hrs for better flavor.
Before serving add chilled club soda or ginger ale and ice. Stir. Serve. Enjoy
My simple sangria:
Red wine, cranberry juice, orange juice, pear nectar, sliced orange, lemon and lime, (optional alcohol), club soda or ginger ale, ice. Sugar/honey if needed. Mix all, chill. Serve, Enjoy!
Don't OWN an iron???? You're kidding! I only iron the articles right before I wear them. My mom used to iron a load at a time. I tried that eons ago and found things still get wrinkled in the closet or drawer so I said the heck with that...now I iron it when I'm ready to wear it.
Oh...and WATER! Lots of water. Just got home from Zumba!
BTW: I also know people that do not own pots and pans but have a great, big kitchen!
