My favorite Chick-Fil-A lunch, which is an original chicken sandwich combo with a carrot and raisin salad and sweet tea.

On my receipt, I was invited to take an online survey about today's experience at their restaurant. Once that was completed, I received a validation code that I wrote on the receipt. This will entitle me to a free chicken sandwich within the next 30 days.

I couldn't eat anything today. I had a doctor's appointment and he admitted me to the hospital for tests, thinking I had appendicitis. It turns out I didn't. What a wasted day off! So, I came home and just finished a huge spinach salad. The joy couldn't be contained.

I'll be having a can of jalapeno Vienna sausage when I wake up from my morning nap.

I have a whole chicken I need to do something with. I'm still trying to figure out what. If I had my new pressure canner already (not til Monday) I'd make homemade chicken soup and can it. I think I'll try to find a fun, interesting way to roast it with unique flavors. Perhaps a Desi Roast Chicken?

Any ideas?

Something a little different: 5 egg rolls with sweet and spicy sauce. I still have more left over for later.
