I generally always go for any and all things lemon, and anything coffee.

One of my favorite things ever is Ethiopian Sidamo coffee, which has crisp, lemony, citrus undertones...best of both worlds!

I'm craving coffee at the moment but I don't want a coffee scented lotion! I'm still on my lime kick, however. I have a dozen of them in the refrigerator. This afternoon I'm going to make a homemade key lime pie that only takes 20 minutes... and that includes prep AND baking!

I had a big citrus thing going last month - couldn't seem to get enough lemon/lime/orange in tea, on fish, chicken, sorbet....

This month it's been all about bbq - fish, chicken, veggies, steak, you name it. And to a lesser degree cheese popcorn. But not at the same time.

Do they sell Dreyer's ice cream where you are? I just killed a tub of their special edition flavor, coconut-pineapple. Soooo good.

That's Dreyers with a D, not Breyer's.

anything with lemon/lime will work as well as any kind of ice cream. I am not a dessert eater, but I can't resist ice cream. Of course you can give me eggs and cheese any day.

Japanese-ey and South East Asian types of flavours at the moment for me. We have had some truly excellent Japanese and Fusion meals out recently and I am trying to recreate some of it at home ( with little success !). Things like Teriyaki style things, miso broths, etc... I could eat that stuff almost every day....

Also a big flavour for me in summer is alway Fennel , and Coriander ( Cilantro leaves I love to add in salads) and I love anissed flavours in desserts or drinks too. Of course summer is fab for basil and other herbs so I tend to get more herby in summer too. And lemon and mint are a great combination.

My local supermarket is selling dark chocolate ice cream with rosemary and I just have to try that. it sounds glorious.
