When I lived in Michigan, I lived about three blocks from a Hardees and would eat two of those Monster burgers a week....so unhealthy, but so good. I haven't had one in years. The nearest Hardees is 100+ miles away from where I live in Illinois.

My favorite fast food places are White Castle (Jalepeno Cheeseburgers...) and Portillo's (dipped Italian beef w/sweet peppers, cheese fries, and milkshakes... ).

Dairy Queen or Wendy's. I also like Arby's for their curly fries.

McDonalds and Subway. I was in Singapore recently and their outlets are all over the place and packed with customers. McDonalds even makes home deliveries.

We just had Hardees yesterday and it was very good. We split a bag lunch, which was two double burgers, a serving of fries and a drink for $5. The burgers were very good and so were the fries.

I don't eat FF very often but when I'm on a road trip or whatever (I actually prefer to cook my own food) I'll choose:

Del Taco--far superior to Taco Bell IMO. Taco Bell has gotten a little too big for their britches and charges for every little extra thing while Del Taco doesn't.

Arbys-- I love their American "burger" sandwich w/blue cheese and bacon. I miss their homestyle fries though and think it was a lousy business decision to get rid of them.

Baja Fresh--does that count as FF ?

A little OT, but a few FF places I positively loathe and refuse to eat at:

McDonalds--just flat out disgusting (see Super size me)
Taco Bell--for the reason I listed above
Burger King--same feelings as McDonalds, plus I'm just not into burgers unless it's a veggie burger.
Jack in the Box--Extra Grease anyone ? lol

I think I'd gnaw on my own fingers before I'd eat at any of these places.

No. Athough they are pretty good, nothing really special about them. They do always come out hot though, so that is nice. My big beef with Sonic (so to speak) is that I haven't had a hot food item from them... ever. They need to invest in some more insulating food packaging or better warmers or something.

Popeyes!
