The recent class-action lawsuit brought against Taco Bell raised questions about the quality of food many Americans eat each day.

Chief among those concerns is the use of cellulose (wood pulp), an extender whose use in a roster of food products, from crackers and ice creams to puddings and baked goods, is now being exposed. What you’re actually paying for – and consuming – may be surprising.

After reading through that entire list of products I see that the only thing I eat is Log Cabin Syrup and that is 1-2 times a year. I'm not worried.

OH food companies.

I thought you were talking about Night clubs with male strippers.

LMAO.

The title reminded me of that dream sequence in Step Brothers by the psychiatrist when Will Farrell busts the door down dressed as a lumber jack and has a major case of wood. Oh yeah Ron Burgundy Anchorman also.

Back on topic- Wood its natural and organic.

That's a bit disturbing, as I see a few food I (USED TO) eat from time to time:

Morning Star Farms products
Wheat Thins Fiber Selects
McDonald's Premium Caesar Salads

I think that if they find a way to get nourishment from wood, then that is a good thing. It's just another plant, after all.

Taco Bell nacho chips, no surprise there, they taste like cardboard.

I just ate a eggo nutragrain blueberry waffle this morning. Guess I will not buy those anymore.

Personally I try as best possible to avoid processed foods. Not easy but I try.

I do, too. We try to stick to basics--chicken, fish, vegies/fruits and wholesome snacks.

Pretty much I find in the supermarket you have shop around the periphery and avoid the center aisles and hit the fruit/veg section, meat section, dairy section and maybe the bread isle. If you end up in the center aisles, frankenfoods like Double Stuf Oreos and Fruit Roll ups can temp your weakness.

The temerity of this termite trickery caused trepidation and should lead to termination.
