I am just wondering about that. Anybody do that. Maybe have some broth and put rice in it and eat it like soup. Or just a fantasy version of soup?

Also, what about cooking stock? Eaten like soup?

Water can be eaten like soup.

So I'd say broth can too. I know people who do just a bowl of broth.

Why not? It's your food. Eat it however you wish.

Consommé is a soup that is essentially a rich, condensed broth. It’s quite difficult and time consuming to make in the traditional way. It’s rarely served anymore, but delicious.

From what I understand broth is the base for most soup but I could be wrong however, I've been using it for years and I haven't poisoned anyone yet.

Yes, broth is the basis for most soup! It is served like a soup. I like to put things to eat in it, like pieces of cheese or Chex Mix.

So drink up! Some people like their soup in a mug.

Yep - broth is the base for soup, you can add whatever you want to make your own soup. Add some soy sauce, mirin, ginger, sake, and chile pepper flakes and you have a good base for making an udon or ramen.

Chicken broth with soft bread cubes is great when you have a cold.
