You know the ones, people who always remove the crusts from their sandwiches/pizza/ even, unbelievably, their pies! For me that's the best part of the pie. In fact, great pastry makes a great pie to me, I could easily just eat pastry on it's own.

I'm not in the habit of taking off bread or pizza crusts. If eating the crust off a pizza is a tiresome experience (too dry or tasteless) than it's a BAD pizza! IMO. That's kinda why, in some ways I like 'bad' chain pizzas like Dominoes because the crust is moist, oily, and if you want, cheesy. Some pizza crusts are too hard and dry.

If the bread is good the crusts should taste good, but sometimes I concede that the crusts off the bread you buy from the supermarket is pretty bleh.

Crust??? Isn't that why I have curly hair??? Crust is good and good for you - I just recently discovered the pizza crust known in the Chicago area - kind of a corn meal concoction - and it was love at first bite - like cornbread with pizza toppings on it. Never had anything like that before..... I love bread to a fault and the best part of a homemade loaf of bread warm out of the oven is ....the crust...

I don't like crusts. The only kind I like is on a pizza that is soft and/or filled with cheese.

I like the crust of freshly baked bread. Everything else can be trimmed off, torn away, ignored and thrown into the trash where it belongs.

Love crust, pizza crust is my favorite and many people I know leave the crust so I tell them if you are not going to eat it give it to me. Pie crust is also great. I also love the crispy chewy ends on Italian and french breads too. When I get sicilian pizza out I always ask for the corner slices because of the crispy crust edges, I don't like the middel slices on a sicilian pie too soggy.

I love crusts, too. It doesn't matter if it's bread, pizza, or pies. Like Lubby, I always ask for the pieces of pizza or bread with the crispiest crust edges.

That is my husband. The man makes superb pizza dough and yet always leaves the crusts. He leaves pie crust and the ends of sandwiches, and he only likes biscuits or cornbread if they are smothered with something.

I love pizza crust. Pie crust, it depends on how good it is.

I like crusts. Especially crusty breads. I was confused when I saw people cutting off a toast bread "crust" ( and it was not toasted)
American bread or rolls does not have crust - just artisan bread.
