Maybe I'll try that. I love to bake, but I think I get myself soooo worried about the recipes turning out right that I inevitably mess it up! Secretly I've always wanted to master some great recipes and start a bakery, but like I said, I've never had much luck with anything other than box cake mixes!

Those things are awesome. But are they really cookies? lol. I consider them more like mini-cakes.

Yup, I always thought they were a petit four.
Whatever they are called, they are fabulous!

Some bakeries call them tri-color cookies (especially in really italian neighborhoods) some call them rainbow cookies.

Either way, I love them <3 I am so jealous you guys are making them! I think I want try now too.

Despite the fact that I can't get good rainbow cookies here, I WILL NOT attempt to bake them because my baking skills are definitely lacking. In the meantime, I'll just have to dream of good cookies (my thighs don't need them anyway, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise).

I have had no difficulty finding good rainbow cookies down here. The best rainbow cookies I have tasted were in fact not in Brooklyn, but Boca Raton!!!!!!! Still difficult to find a good bagel though...

This place called "Star Bakery" near Delray Beach. Just amazing. This place called Flakowitz used to be the best but they have declined a lot lately...can't find anything as good this far south though.
