I just checked the website of a locker plant where I have purchased beef in the past.

It states their beef is all selected from cattle in the local area .

Prices are-----half beef..........$2.39
--------------front quarter......$2,39
--------------mixed quarter......$2.49

Price includes all processing, wrapping, and sharp freezing

Average weight of side of beef is between 300-350

Thus cost of side is between $702 and $821
