One of the items I always bought on my visit to the grocery store was a six pack of Diet Coke in 24 ounce plastic bottles. Since the middle of September the two grocery store chains that I usually shop at no longer offer Coke products in the 24 ounce plastic bottles. They still offer the two liter and six packs of 12 ounce plastic bottles.
Is this because of NYC Mayor Bloombergs recent ruling outlawing 24 ounce drinks in NYC? Is it nation wide or just in my local (Lincoln, Nebraska) stores? Have any of you in other parts of the country noticed this?

Man, I can't even drink 24 ounces of soda anymore. I remember as a kid, though, I could have easily. We used to go to AM/PM and get a Thristy Two Ouncer Suicide (mixed soda with at least a few ounces of each flavor).
