This is quite possibly the most pared-down holiday dinner I've ever made. So....the day after, the 4 of us (in Minnesota) are still eating:
- Turkey
- Garlic & sour cream mashed potatoes w/homemade turkey gravy
- Plain mashed potatoes (someone doesn't like the above variety)
- Peas & carrots
- Stuffing
- Whole cranberry relish
- Dinner rolls & butter
- Pumpkin pie
- Cinnamon-less apple pie
- Breyers strawberry ice cream
- Cherry Jell-O w/Cool Whip (for those who don't like pie)
- Guinness Stout
- Grain Belt's "Nordeast" beer (hey, this is Minnesoooota!)

I love vidalia onions and this looked good as basically it is a raw onion and mayo sandwich but again, the instructions are confusing.
I used Vidalia. This link might help: My Dinners With James Beard - The Daily Beast

They were OK. I probably won't do them again, but it was fun trying something new!
