If you could bring back any defunct restaurant what would it be? (burger, coffee)

Sallie Tee's. It was a restaurant on an inlet in Monmouth Beach, NJ. Good food, from sandwiches to salads to seafood dinners. Great lobster bisque. I loved that place.
It was damaged in Irene. They repaired the damage, reopened, and then Sandy hit, and that was the end of it. Such is the danger of a business on the water.
For chains, I miss Steak and Ale. They had really decent steaks at a good price, and a good salad bar. And this wonderful warm brownie thing with ice cream on top for dessert...
I just remember another one that was so good and so popular: it was on the border of China Town in Los Angeles: has been there for years and I guess went bye bye many years ago: Maybe I have already menioned it but it was Little Joe's.
Seafood Shanty (Pennsylvania local chain, used to work there in college)
Howard Johnson's (great food and pistachio ice cream!)
Ginos (burgers, fries, and KF Chicken)
I remembered another than I am pretty sure is out of business:it was Chesapeake Bay fish house I think it was called. Anyway, they had several in the region, but we used to go to the one in Alexandria, VA for all the fish we could eat. I loved that place.
If it was possible, it would be nice to have Tasty Broiler which used to be in downtown Honolulu across from the boat docks back again. They had wonderful slabs of grilled fish served on old linoleum tables and the menu was just the entree and the price written in magic marker on butcher paper and taped to the wall. "Ahi $2.95" would get you a big slab of fresh caught and fresh grilled tuna on a plate with steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes and buttered bread. All this served on mis-matched melamine plates. Oh, drink and dessert came with it, too. It was a great place for excellent food.
THANK YOU ! I was trying to remember the name of that place!
Valle's Steak House - the amount of items on the menu was ridiculous Lum's - the Ollieburger El Torito - it was always my favorite Mexican restaurant. I think they still exist somewhere, just not here in MA. Howard Johnson's - it was a staple when driving from Am to FL annually to visit my grandparetns, as I now think most highway rest stops suck
