If you like your favorite soda without fructose corn syrup now is a good time to buy and stock up.
The Jewish holiday of Passover is coming up, which means that Coca-Cola and Pepsi put out special versions of their signature beverages that contain regular old sugar and not high fructose corn syrup.

I think Pepsi has HFCS free all year round, it's the throwback one, that is made with sugar. Oh and Mountain Dew too. They carry the regular formula too, guess some people prefer it. I don't like soda never did, but my kids say the throwback is much better.
But I have noticed the Kosher for Passover Coke in the store with the yellow caps containing sugar in the store recently.
I just go to the local Mexican Tienda - their Coke and Pepsi have sugar.
The sugar version tastes so much better why don't they just go back to the original recipes?

If only they made the "throwbacks" without caffeine. I love a rum and coke at night, but I put myself on a strict no-caffeine regimen after noon so that I can sleep better. I also prefer the sugared/non-HFCS drinks. Alas, the market for the throwbacks is apparently too small for them to make them caffeine free.
