If the delivery driver is using the company vehicle and is not paying for the gas, maybe $8 to $10 is a little high? Maybe I'm wrong?

It is being asked because the OP was curious. Wow, you really are a loose cannon.

I tip between 10% - 15% plus a couple bucks because the delivery drivers pay for their own gasoline.
Except my pizza delivery people I always give them $5.00 but I pay a delivery fee because I live right on the outside of the "city proper" and it is exactly 3/4 of a mile from their door to mine.

Too many people seem to consider restaurant or pizza delivery people to be beggars, when in fact they are hardworking and have to pay their own gas and vehicle expenses.

Tip generously, 20% or more especially if the weather is rainy, snowy, icy, or hot. You didn't want to get in your car and go pick it up yourself so tip well the person who did.

Tip in cash, not adding it to the credit card.

Become known as a fair and generous tipper and you will make their day when you phone in an order.

Just FYI, the delivery fee often goes to the restaurant, not the delivery driver.

As someone who's been a delivery driver, tips can range all over the place and at least where I live, it's rare to be offended. I've had customers in bad situations who could only tip 7-8%, but that's a lot to them, so it's still appreciated. A lot of wealthy people actually do tip very well as they value their time - you're saving them having to get ready to go out to eat, so a 25% tip isn't rare at all. The only ones who annoyed me are smaller orders on the very edges of our delivery area who tip around 10% on a $30 order when delivering there is a 40-minute R/T or do a straight 10%-15% when it's complete hell outside. Really, if you wouldn't go out in the weather, add a couple more bucks.

It would depend on how many $1 bills I had on me. I would at the very least give him/her $40 and if I had a couple ones on me then $42.

I rarely get food delivered because everything is a 5 minute ride for us for food. But $7 to $8 sounds about right.

I believe it all depends on what you are able to give. I had a $29 delivery yesterday and I gave $3.00

lol

How much would you say a reasonable tip is on a $10-13 order for Pizza delivery? 10-15% or more?
