Wheeee!!!!! All the machines are gone and it is quiet in the house. Being brain dead from the week-long assault I am going to make spaghetti with the leftover turkey meatballs I made last week. That's about all I can handle today.

Friday night and I'm in no mood to cook. Sent DH to pick up a pizza and I made a baby spinach salad with sliced mushroom and red onions. Choice of prepared dressing.

Feeling blah. But it was good.

Root beer float sounds good! We're having some roasted chicken pieces (legs and thighs) with whole cloves of garlic and rosemary. That will be eaten with mashed potatoes and I am opening a can of corn. I know, I know, the corn is a disappointment. But the orange glazed green beans I was going to make seemed like too much work after 2 glasses of wine.

Crove in at Popeye's. Got two crawfish tackle boxes; crawfish, cajun fries, cole slaw, and biscuits. Love it. Gotta eat 'em while they are in season.

I love Shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta - go for it - so much better than serving it over corn.

Keep it Local - I agree!
Fettuccini won out I wasn't going to put the shrimp over the corn. Make a tossed salad have enough shrimp leftover for lunch.

Maggie good to hear you are semi back to normal.
