Well, it's my birthday and I have an awful cold. My family did try their best to make me feel better. We had grilled Thai shrimp for an appetizer and Thai chicken and mango curry for dinner. I love spicy food when I'm sick.

We are supposed to be heading to a party about now, but I am still in yoga pants and a sweatshirt...

Happy New Years to all in CD land!

I had a couple slabs of medium cheddar cheese and some steamed mixed veggies. Eating up this cheese and won't buy it again - more than 1 or 2 servings of dairy a week makes my nose run.

Started out with soup and sourdough French bread artisan rolls for starters. Delved into vegetarian Hakka noodles with schezwan chili and peanut sauce as the main course. Finally ate kaju katri for dessert. Preparing to cut the cake to start 2014.

Happy new year everyone .
