Bacon, lettuce, and tomato on honey wheat. Tomatoes have been especially delicious this year. Also had a sugar cone of chocolate and vanilla. Coke to drink.

Eating a few cups of cucumber/tomato salad right now. Feeling a little peckish so will probably have a peanut butter sandwich if I'm still hungry.

Sigh.

I never have good experiences at Wendy's. I rarely eat there but decided that I wanted a 4 piece spicy nuggets with ranch dipping sauce. I'd gotten sweet tea and onion rings from Burger King. I had exactly $1.07 to pay her. Easy enough? It's never that easy at Wendy's regardless of location or state.

Cashier: May I take your order.
Me: I want a 4 piece spicy chicken nuggets with ranch sauce to go.
Cashier: Okay.
Cashier: You want a 4 piece regular?
Me: No, spicy.
Cashier: Mumbles something inaudible
Me: Excuse me?
Cashier: Your sauce?
Me: Ranch
Cashier: For here or to go?
Me: To go.
Cashier: Mumbles something and 14 cents.
Me: Thinking to myself that local taxes may have gone up so I hand over my debit card instead of holding up the line to go get 7 cents.

I get the bag and there are 2 boxes of nuggets in the bag and a receipt for $2.14.

Did you at least get the sauce? lol

I used to LOVE Wendy's, they were my favorite fast food burger. But the quality went sharply downhill about 10 - 12 years ago and I haven't been back. I had problems with not getting what I ordered too. I was hoping it was just the local franchises, but sounds like maybe it's the whole chain.

Yes, but only because she put it on the counter before getting the food bagged. I really noticed how bad Wendy's was back in '07. They make it hard for you to want to return.
