I like Perrier and all the various mineral waters. Fortunately, I can get them for 0.25 a bottle, on average, by buying them at various salvage stores.
San Pellegrino or a good club soda. My favorite is Topo Chico from Mexico. Topo Chico keeps it's carbonation longer than any sparkling water I've found and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
An ounce or so of good Rye Whiskey improves the taste of discount club soda immensely, if that's all you've got on hand.
Never drank much of it till moving to Germany. Now it the only water I drink.
Perfer Gerolsteiner, Dauner (<3 the Eifel) or San Pellegrino.
Same here - San Pellegrino is my favorite, with Gerolsteiner coming in a close second! I don't want any added flavors, unless it's a twist of lime.
Hey, by the way, if you want a cool drink option for the summertime, try mixing chilled sparkling water half and half with your favorite sweetish red wine. Add a twist of lime and a few slightly crushed leaves of basil. WOW! Refreshing, half the calorie and alcohol count, and you still feel like you're giving yourself a wonderful treat.
I love Sparkling water..Perrier water/Club Soda...the rest of my family thinks I am nuts drinking that ..it tastes good with white wine, with home made juice or just with a fresh squeezed lemon or lime
I modified a sodastream and have now a second faucet at our kitchen sink: Just for the bubbly H2O.
I love all the volcanic deep Eifel waters: Apollinaris, Reginaris, Gerolsteiner. They have natural minerals in them and just a hint of earthy taste therefore.
I buy my flavored sparkling waters at Walmart. I love mixing key lime water with Dole Orange Pineapple Juice. Can't tell you how much of each because I doubt if I use the same amount of each every time. lol Just a good tasty mixture.
My all time favorite beverage was old fashioned seltzer, but I can't get it anymore. The closest I can get is sparkling water, so that is what I drink a lot of now.
I always put strawberries into ice cube trays, cover them with water until they freeze, and then transfer them to freezer bags, so I usually have my sparkling water with a couple of cubes with the frozen strawberries. (It doesn't really do much for the sparkling water, other than make it look prettier.)
