Personally, I would not try butter in my coffee, but then again, I am working on getting off the addiction of coffee.
I have 1 tsp of the *gasp* coconut milk creamer (allergic to dairy here), 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup. I hate the taste of coffee and that's why I use the chocolate. Been drinking it to keep the migraines at bay and I can't take medicine.
Since I am allergic to dairy and the vegan buttery sticks have a different taste, I can't see them in the coffee either.

If you're not allergic to nuts, almond milk tastes great and would go well with the chocolate syrup too.

Tried the almond milk and it wasn't creamy enough. Will check Whole Foods to see what I can find. Love my almond milk. Keep that and rice milk in the house.
Some people add butter to their tea, too, but it's only really common in the frozen North, especially places like Tibet. It makes the tea stick to your ribs more, I guess.
