Happy Valentine's Day all! Since I am sans a Valentine this year, I am doing Chinese take out with my son. (since pickle was talking about Chinese yesterday, I have had a craving!) No Valentine's Day would be complete without boxed chocolates for dessert. (Russell Stover creams)

This morning was at Norma's Café in Frisco, TX. There, I had chicken-fried steak, buttered white toast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and coffee.

I've got ribeye steak, beautiful asparagus and mashed potatoes, with artisan butterscotch caramel chocolate bon-bons for dessert.

Sheena you wanted my Spaetzle recipe

I use Tyler Florence basic Spaetzle recipe and just add powdered porcini into the dough. Btw do not spend tons on the amazon version of this, I just buy the dried procini, grated till powdered and add just enough via eyeballing it to get the dough flecked enough.

And therefore you just need a piece of fruit for dinner.
