Boneless/skinless friend chicken tenders not breaded.
I haven't had anything else yet but I haven't decided if I am still hungry.
I may just fix some cook and serve pudding and be done with supper.
Well another lazy girl dinner...Eggo waffle, then some Chobani Greek Vanilla yogurt and finally some slightly syrupy strawberries (I put up when I caught a great sale) on top.
Today is anniversary number 56. We had talked about going out for steak and Lobster, but then I decided with our trip to Vegas only a week away and plenty of good places to eat there, we would just stay home and enjoy something we love at a less expensive price. We are having grilled salmon, twice baked potatoes and green salad. I will add a little blue cheese to my salad, but I won't force spoiled brat to have any on his. of course we will open a nice bottle of wine, instead of his favorite, out of the box variety.
I know now we will not be drinking his cheap box wine. He just went to the kitchen (about 1/2 hour ago) to pour us a cup of coffee. Suddenly he is standing next to me announcing we have a problem: the problem turned out to be a leaky box of wine he opened last night. How many people are scrubbing their kitchen floors at 5:45 in the morning. Now, the wine is in a huge plastic sack to be returned to the liquor store this am and the floor is clean though the kitchen still smells like cheap wine.
Tonight we will have a pork roast (seasoned with garlic, fresh rosemary, thyme and black pepper) with baked acorn squash halves on the side. There will probably be rice to go with it....I have left-over sticky rice from last night.

Congrats on anniversary 56! No congrats on cleaning up cheap wine first thing in the morning!
Tonight will be grilled steak tips, corn on the cob and pickled peaches. I am up in the air on maybe making a dish with udon noodles as my 8 year adores them. If anyone has any not too involved suggestions for a side dish with them I am all ears!
