Hubby had Tyson chicken strips and Tater tots. I ate a late lunch with my mom so I wasn't hungry.

Moving date is getting close so we are using up all of our frozen foods. Tonight I am having a frozen Chicken Kiev with Stouffer's Spinach Souffle. I think I will add some fresh steamed carrots.

Hubs aunt and uncle are in to visit. I asked what they would like to have for dinner. He said, "do you still know how to fry salmon?" So we had this hugely fattening meal of:

Salmon Croquets (fried)
Home Fried Potatoes
Turnip Greens
Green Beans
Baked Apples
White Gravy
Homemade Biscuits
Chess Pie with Ice Cream
Iced Tea and a Pot of Coffee

I gained two pounds just cooking it!

I cleaned out the freezer this week and so we had some unearthed steaks, crash hot potatoes, and a three bean salad.

Spoiled brat is staying home from church cause his gout is still bothering him, so he will put ribs (not his of course) on the smoker. We have a meeting here this pm; perfect for doing ribs cause we don't have to pay much attention to them. After everyone leaves it will be time for ribs, waldorf salad and stuffed winter squash. I got the recipe from the Food Network magazine.
