Kids came home from school today. I'm making chicken milanese with spring greens and a side of browned butter parmesan orzo. They're very excited to have a home cooked meal tonight.
Tonight we'll have cheesy broccoli & cauliflower soup
pork chops with a garlic and wine sauce spooned over mashed potatoes
crusty Italian loaf
raspberry cobbler and vanilla ice cream

Bang biscuits are the ones that come in a cardboard can. You bang them on the edge of the counter to open the can.
My DP and I are pretty much in agreement that the Boboli pizza I make at home is better than what we order from local pizza places. I use "extra cheese" and extra pepperoni" and tonight I added a little bell pepper and mushrooms...lightly sautéed in EVOO. Delicious!
