54th Street Grill & Bar. After appetizers I had steak, green beans and I forget what else. It's been a long day.

We have a couple of pieces of prime rib left, our daughter sent home. I think we are going to have roast beef sandwiches but I am not sure what else. Too me, roast beef sandwiches also means potato salad and that is usually a summer thing. Maybe I will make cold slaw, it should work just as well.

It was outstanding! Absolutely delicious! Some crispy crinkle-cut French fries on the side, too.
that has good flavor - good find!

its not a skirt steak, or actual filet mignon, it is what you mentioned .... hanging tenderloin, or sometimes called Hanger Steak or Butcher's Tenderloin

not many places sell it around here, tho I like it !!

Funny that you said it's sometimes called "butcher's tenderloin." I saw that online when I looked up "hanging tenderloin." The articles also said that it's sometimes called "butcher's tenderloin" because butchers used to keep it for themselves instead of selling it -- it's THAT good!

Tonight is homemade pizza night, some want pepperoni, some want a vegetarian, some want a Hawaiian pizza, some want meat on it,so we decided everyone makes them at home and brings them and with it a large bowl of garden salad. To drink beer and for dessert more cookies, clementines, mulled wine, salty snacks and a good time of laughter, playing board games or electronic games. As fun as it is I am longing for peace
