When you're sick what are the only foods you find that you can eat, or care to eat? I like to eat healthy for the most part, but when I'm sick I find that I have no desire for my normal foods. For me, about the only things I can eat when I'm sick, which I am right now, are grilled cheese sandwiches with whole wheat bread, and Tomato and Chicken Noodle soup with lots of crackers, 7 Up, and maybe a little orange juice. And possibly a banana.

So what about you?

Depends on how sick I am. If I am really sick like a bad cold or flu or stomach flu then my appetite is usually slim to none. If feel so so then a bowl of hot soup or toast with jelly, or crackers, maybe a grilled cheese or PBJ.

Banana, saltine crackers, Gingerale to start, then as you improve, move up to chicken noodle soup, fudgesicles, and Jello.

Usually, a piece of sourdough toast, chicken noodle soup or an Asian soup like won ton, egg drop or Pho. If it's Pho I add sriracha to the broth. Tons of water too.

Apple juice, chicken broth, Jell-o or Popsicles if I have a sore throat, applesauce, toast, tea - maybe a hot toddy if I feel like it. If I'm nauseous sick, ginger ale and saltines.

Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup -- I've loved this all my life. Half comfort food/half it's what I can digest!
Saltines
Pretzels
Ginger Ale

I'll also get egg-drop soup, if I'm already out, like on my way home from work.
Someone once made me matzo-ball soup when I was ill, and it was just right.
